Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Summary:

A cloud solutions architect is a high-level professional responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud computing solutions that meet business requirements.

  • This includes working with stakeholders to translate business needs into cloud architecture, ensuring best practices are followed, and guiding cloud adoption strategies.
Responsibilities:
  • The cloud solutions architect designs cloud-based architectures and solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • They assess business requirements and translate them into technical cloud strategies.
  • Lead cloud migration, integration, and deployment projects to ensure seamless transition of applications and data to the cloud.
  • Ensure cloud solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards by implementing robust security measures, conducting risk assessments, and monitoring system performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams on cloud computing best practices.
  • Optimize cloud costs, scalability, and reliability by analyzing usage patterns, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions to business challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, security, and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect) are highly preferred.
