Key responsibilities include taking ownership of assigned duties and tasks, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering on departmental plans and objectives, achieving hotel targets and initiatives.

Collaboration with immediate reports is essential, requiring control of costs and inventory, attainment of productivity and performance levels, and promotion of company culture and values.

Adherence to legislation and compliance requirements is also a key aspect of this role, with regular audits and follow-up actions necessary.

Requirements:
  • Experience in housekeeping is beneficial but not essential.
  • A hotel management degree or diploma is mandatory.
  • A hands-on approach with a can-do attitude is required.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of duties and tasks assigned.
  • Personal integrity and ability to work in an environment demanding excellence.
  • Experience working with IT systems on various platforms.
