Job Title: New Product Introduction Manager

As a New Product Introduction Manager, you will lead the development and launch of new products, ensuring timely execution from concept to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: You will be responsible for leading multiple NPI projects, owning project timelines, cost targets, and quality metrics across the product lifecycle.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with R&D, design, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and marketing teams to deliver on product specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.
  • Product Development & Validation: Ensure DFMA principles are integrated early in the design stage, oversee prototyping, pilot builds, and validation testing, and lead issue tracking and resolution during EVT, DVT, and PVT phases.
  • Operational Readiness: Establish production readiness with manufacturing teams, drive cost optimization through value engineering and supplier development, and ensure smooth handover to operations post-launch.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine NPI processes, tools, and best practices tailored for consumer appliance development, track post-launch performance, and drive iterative improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong program management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
  • Deep understanding of appliance product development, preferably in water purifiers / home appliances / consumer electronics.
  • Knowledge of plastic parts, filtration technologies, electronics integration, pumps/valves, and assembly processes.
  • Hands-on experience in DFMA, validation testing, regulatory certifications (ROHS, ISI, BIS, NSF, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
