The role of Manager - Activation & Number Management plays a critical part in this journey, focusing on driving activations, improving SIM exchange processes, and ensuring seamless customer onboarding experiences. Key responsibilities include:

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:

  • Drive activations as per defined timelines for Prepaid and Postpaid services, ensuring timely SIM exchange processing with minimal rejections and quality compliance.
  • Field-level inputs on app performance, new requirements, and plans to address market issues, along with fortnightly planning with the SnD team.
  • Drive Postpaid/Prepaid onboarding processes (digital and non-digital).
  • Zero stockouts of SIMs/Mobile number series and CYN Pool.
  • Timely application of new series requirements.
  • Timely churn of prepaid numbers based on defined VLR and ZU status logic.
  • Reduce complaints and calls related to onboarding/SIM exchange, enhance digital penetration.
  • Measure the effectiveness of project/process deployments in circles.
  • Regular interaction with cluster Retention teams for market practices, competition insights, and support.
  • CAF compliance for Prepaid and Postpaid - 99%.
  • MNP Prepaid Retention as per target.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience:

  • Good communication and liaison skills.
  • Analytical thinking and sound system/CRM tools knowledge.
  • Expert knowledge of provisioning tools such as CPOS, UPSS, BCL, OSS, etc.
  • Strong project management skills and structured problem-solving and process mapping skills.
  • Experience in prepaid retention process and lifecycle management.
  • Experience in postpaid and prepaid activation and onboarding.
  • Experience of vendor management for managing SLAs.
  • Superior database handling and management.

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

  • Graduate with a preference for an MBA.
  • 5 years of experience in a relevant field with the last 2 years in a relevant role.

Based on the company's requirements and industry standards, the estimated salary for this role is ₹15,00,000 - ₹25,00,000 per annum, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
