The Responsible Mica Initiative seeks a dedicated professional for the position of Workplace Standard Auditor & Trainer to support the growth of our activities in India and strengthen our support to upstream supply chain actors.

The successful candidate will be based in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, India, and work closely with RMI's governance bodies, Executive team, members, and partners under the supervision of the Director of Programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct gap assessments of India mica processors and mica mines versus RMI's Global Workplace Standard (GWS)
  • Support processors and mine owners in implementing corrective action plans
  • Coordinate collective third-party audit protocol for RMI members
  • Develop training content for auditors on RMI standards
  • Perform quality checks on audit reports
  • Analyze audit data and build presentations for team and members

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in International Development, Business, Engineer/Mining, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain social and environmental auditing
  • Demonstrated experience with sustainability standards and mining standards
  • Good knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulation, Industrial EHS requirements, Quality and Production systems
  • Experience in facilitating training sessions
