Job Title: People Operations Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to lead our people operations. This role involves overseeing all aspects of our HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance, and benefits administration.
  • Development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and organizational goals.
  • Management of the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviews, hiring, and onboarding processes.
  • Support for current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of staff members.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues that may arise.
  • Management of performance review processes and collaboration with department heads on performance improvement plans.
  • Organization of training and development initiatives to support employee growth and development.
  • Ensurance of legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements.
  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports in compliance with audit and data privacy standards.
  • Promotion of a positive and inclusive workplace culture that supports diversity and inclusion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in HR or a related field.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and employee engagement tools.
