Job Opportunity for a Results-Oriented Site Sourcing Leader

As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading site sourcing strategy and diversified commodity execution for India Friction business. This role requires strong leadership skills to drive innovation and growth while ensuring quality, cost, and performance expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute site sourcing strategies that deliver value to the organization.
  • Lead diverse commodity teams to ensure timely and effective execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for deflation and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on their capabilities, quality, and price.
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate best pricing and terms.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide technical and regional market intelligence to support strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Instrumental in developing transfer of technologies (ToTs) for Transit Business, driving knowledge sharing and capacity building.
  • Align with remanufacturing strategy, securing contracts with suppliers to support build, qualify, develop, and manage regional import supplier panels.
  • Define and deploy supplier risk assessments, including sole, single, and dual sourcing plans.
  • Collaborate with central sourcing category teams and other transit site sourcing teams to identify deflation opportunities for transit business.
  • Create, execute contracts with suppliers to support sourcing requirements for site supplier relationship management.
