Video Editor - Create Inspiring Educational Content

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our remote team and help create short-form educational videos that inspire learning.

  • Edit engaging video content for various platforms, adhering to creative guidelines and scripts.
  • Assemble timelines using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, incorporating approved footage and assets.
  • Apply color correction and matching techniques to maintain consistency between shots.
  • Perform sound design and audio mixing for voice, effects, and music elements.
  • Add title designs and on-screen text as required.
  • Export videos in multiple formats, including landscape and vertical orientations.

The ideal candidate will possess basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, understanding of video editing fundamentals, and experience with color correction, color matching, and audio mixing. Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and ability to follow directions are essential. Previous experience editing short-form video content is welcome but not required.

This is a contracted position, and all work is project-based. Contractors are responsible for providing their own computer, internet access, and working environment. Access to required software will be provided by the employer. Compensation will be paid per hour, processed through Rippling, and based on hours worked.
