Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in accounting and experience in accounts payable/receivable/asset management.

The role entails establishing governance processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition. The specialist will work closely with stakeholders from multiple groups within the organization.

  • Establishing a governance process to ensure revenue recognition is accurate and in adherence to contracts and PR/SO.
  • Maintaining documentation and information for reporting to internal management and investors.
  • Establishing a month-close process and recording accounting entries and transactions as part of period-close activities.
  • Ensuring on-time collections from customers.
  • Customer and stakeholder management and interactions.
  • Generating invoices, credit notes, and debit notes in line with contractual terms and relevant GST Tax/SEZ rules.
  • Updating month-end schedules and other reports.
  • Preparing schedules for audit and resolving queries related to vendor management and asset management.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MBA Finance or Commerce Graduate with expertise in accounting.
  • 4-5 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable/asset management.
  • Working knowledge of local Indian financial reporting and tax compliance requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Maturity to handle confidential information.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • High degree of ownership.
