Job Title: Safety Officer A dedicated and experienced professional is sought after to play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of employees and visitors within the workplace. Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to UAE safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
  • Safety Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees, promoting a culture of safety awareness and encouraging best practices.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records of safety performance and training.
  • Emergency Response and Coordination: Coordinate emergency response procedures, conduct regular drills, and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: Liaise with local authorities, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies.
 Requirements:
  • NEBOSH IGC Certification: Hold a valid NEBOSH IGC certification (UAE attestation), demonstrating your expertise in occupational health and safety management systems.
  • Experience and Skills: Possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the UAE, with strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Audit and Reporting Capabilities: Be able to conduct thorough safety audits, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Immediate Availability: Candidates with immediate availability to join the organization are highly preferred.
