We are looking for a Plant HRG for our Pune Plant to support the delivery of all HR strategies and processes for our manufacturing facility.

You will partner with cross-functional teams and leaders to broker HR services and engage in staffing, organizational development, talent management, internal communication, budgeting, and performance management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build a competitive workforce by recruiting, developing, and retaining strong hourly talent.

AOP Process: Support the AOP process with details of hourly team members.

Staffing and Selection: Drive the hiring process of hourly team members to build a competitive workforce.

University Relations: Support Plant HR in driving university relations for plant organization.

  • Drive the performance management process for Garrett Plant organization (Direct) in a timely manner.
  • Ensure high employee engagement scores for Plant Hourly team members.
  • Ensure NIL impact on business due to Labour Employee Relations risk.
  • Support all HR processes for plant hourly population, including performance management, annual compensation cycle, local incentive payout, and monthly townhall meetings.
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Enforce Garrett Policies and drive disciplinary actions to sustain performance culture at the plant.
  • Support Plant communications ensuring availability of relevant information for Plant's B1 employees.
  • Develop and drive HR initiatives, including process improvement, training, metrics/trends analysis, and employment practice improvement.
  • SUPPORT GARRETT EXCELLENCE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION AT PLANT LEVEL AND HR DEPARTMENT LEVEL.
  • Participate and drive completion of actions coming out of meetings, site committee meetings, and other site committee meetings.
  • Work closely with Garrett HR Admin, Benefits, and Payroll teams to ensure timely resolution of employee grievances.
  • Support plant/India HR improvement initiatives/projects.
  • Observe work rules and internal HS&E guidelines.
  • Support all plant statutory compliances, including for contract labour.

Job Requirements:

An MBA degree in HRM & LR from a reputed institute.

Experience: 4+ years of experience in HR related areas, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Good knowledge of Labour laws and ability to apply them to practical day-to-day plant situations.
  • Excellent communication skills with people of different backgrounds, global mindset, and ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to understand and speak Marathi.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and influence at varying levels across the organization.
