We are looking for a new colleague that should join us as our Plant HRG for our Pune Plant. In this role you will be responsible to support Plant HR manager in delivery of all HR strategies and processes for our Pune manufacturing facility.
You will partner with cross-functional teams and leaders to broker HR services and actively engage in staffing, organizational development, talent management, internal communication budgeting and performance management.
A few of your main responsibilities will include:
- Build a plant workforce that creates a competitive advantage by recruiting, developing and retaining strong hourly talent.
AOP: Support AOP process with details of hourly team members.
Staffing and selection- actively drive the hiring process of hourly team members to build competitive workforce.
University Relations: Support Plant HR in actively drive University relations for plant organization
- Actively drive the performance management process for Garrett Plant organization (Direct) in a timely manner.
- Ensure high employee engagement scores for Plant Hourly team members by working closely with the plant organization
- Ensure NIL impact on business due to Labour Employee Relations risk
- Support all HR processes for plant hourly population. eg hourly performance management system, Annual Compensation Cycle, Local Incentive Payout, Monthly Plant Townhall, various planned engagement activities, ensuring census accuracy, .
- Support maintaining management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Ensure their availability to all employees.
- Enforce Garrett Policies and drive disciplinary actions to sustain performance culture at the plant
- Support Plant communications ensuring availability of relevant and accurate information for Plant's B1 employees in a timely manner.
- Developing and driving HR initiatives – process and employment practice improvement, training, metrics/trends and analysis
- Support Garrett Excellence Model implementation both at HR department level and plant level
- Participate and actively drive completion of actions coming out of all meetings (tier 1, 2, 3 or 4), other site committee meetings
- Work closely with Garrett HR Admin, Benefits and Payroll teams to ensure timely resolution of employee grievances
- Participate and support plant/ India HR improvement initiatives/ Projects
- Observes the obligations and duties resulting from the management systems in production, quality, HS&E areas and other external and internal standards and regulations
- Observes work rules and internal HS&E guidelines in the current wording
- Support all plant statutory compliances including for contract labour.
YOU MUST HAVE:
An MBA degree in HRM & LR from a reputed institute.
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in HR related areas. Experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of Labour laws and ability to apply them to practical day to day plant situations
- Excellent communication skills with people of different backgrounds; global mindset and ability to operate in a multicultural environment; Advanced level of English both in written and verbal communication. Ability to understand and speak in Marathi.
- Ability to work in a strong matrix environment; Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization

Other important information:
This role is based in our Pune Plant in Hinjewadi Phase II.
We are open to relocating candidates from other cities in India to Pune, if interested.
