The role of Plant HRG at our Pune Plant involves supporting the delivery of all HR strategies and processes for our manufacturing facility. You will partner with cross-functional teams and leaders to provide HR services, engage in staffing, organizational development, talent management, internal communication, budgeting, and performance management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, develop, and retain strong hourly talent to build a competitive workforce.
  • Support the AOP process by detailing hourly team members.
  • Drive the hiring process for hourly team members to create a competitive workforce.
  • Develop university relations to drive engagement.
  • Lead the performance management process for Garrett Plant organization (Direct) in a timely manner.
  • Ensure high employee engagement scores for Plant Hourly team members.
  • Maintain NIL impact on business due to Labour Employee Relations risk.
  • Support all HR processes for plant hourly population, including performance management, annual compensation cycle, local incentive payout, and monthly townhall meetings.
  • Prepare, update, and recommend human resource policies and procedures.
  • Enforce Garrett Policies and drive disciplinary actions to sustain performance culture at the plant.
  • Ensure relevant information is available for Plant's B1 employees through Plant communications.
  • Develop and drive HR initiatives, including process improvement, training, metrics/trends analysis, and employment practice improvement.
  • SUPPORT GARRETT EXCELLENCE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION AT PLANT LEVEL AND HR DEPARTMENT LEVEL.
  • Participate in and complete actions from meetings, site committee meetings, and other site committee meetings.
  • Work closely with Garrett HR Admin, Benefits, and Payroll teams to resolve employee grievances.
