Job Overview:

A Proposal Developer is required to create compliant, compelling, and well-structured proposals for US federal opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US government RFPs and experience working with capture teams, SMEs, and leadership. This role involves developing strategic proposals that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and respond to federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders
  • Write and edit proposal content that is clear, persuasive, and compliant
  • Collaborate with capture managers, business development, and technical experts to gather inputs
  • Create and maintain compliance matrices and ensure all submissions meet solicitation requirements
  • Manage the proposal development lifecycle, including reviews, deadlines, and final submission
  • Maintain a library of past performance, resumes, and reusable proposal content
  • Proofread, format, and standardize documents for consistency and compliance

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience writing proposals for US federal government contracts
  • Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process (FAR/DFAR)
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • US citizenship or work authorization required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APMP certification or Shipley methodology training
  • Experience supporting proposals across multiple industries (IT, staffing, healthcare, logistics, professional services, etc.)
  • Familiarity with proposal tools (Loopio, RFPIO, etc.)
