Purchasing Manager

Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our purchasing activities for pharma products and other related categories. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and vendors to develop new products and bring them to market or redesign existing products to achieve cost competitiveness. You will also lead projects and influence different functions to achieve goals, ensure results are accomplished, and deliver on time.

Additionally, you will identify priorities during whirlwind situations and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Another crucial aspect of this role is vendor management. You will maintain effective business relationships with vendors associated with assigned product categories, understand their impact on overall business and product category, and proactively monitor potential changes with vendors or in the related manufacturing industry.

You will also lead supplier scorecard processes, challenge existing vendor pools, identify high-potential vendors, and develop sourcing risk mitigation plans.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with teams effectively and respectfully, act as a team player, and facilitate communication among teams.


Qualifications:
  1. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and above

To be successful in this role, you should have working experience in procurement functions, particularly in textile products. Experience in healthcare companies or regional sourcing centers would be beneficial.

Your expertise in new product development and supplier development will be essential in driving our business forward.

Finally, proficiency in English language will enable you to communicate effectively with our global network.
