Senior Process Operator - Cement Plant

This position involves leading shift operations for Kiln and Coal Mill as Shift In-Charge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving plant optimization and stabilization initiatives, managing daily production booking and reporting, planning and executing shutdown activities efficiently, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring smooth functioning of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead kiln and coal mill operations during shifts, overseeing the entire process from raw materials to final product.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency, stability, and productivity, resulting in enhanced quality and quantity of cement produced.
  3. Prepare and manage production schedules, reports, and records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in meeting business objectives.
  4. Plan and coordinate shutdown activities, minimizing downtime and optimizing resources to meet business needs.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence and ensure seamless plant operation.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production planning, budgeting, and other business processes.
Requirements:
  1. Hands-on experience in cement plant operations, specifically in kiln, coal mill, raw mill, and cement mill areas.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of equipment and process control systems, with ability to apply this expertise in practical settings.
  3. Expertise in shutdown planning, site troubleshooting, and problem-solving, with a focus on maintaining plant efficiency and stability.

This role demands a Senior Officer or Assistant Manager with at least 5 years of experience in the cement industry. A B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) or Diploma in Chemical / B.Sc (Chemistry) qualification is also essential for success in this position.
