Job Description:

As a seasoned IT professional, you will serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams. This involves designing, developing, modifying, implementing, and supporting software components throughout the entire software stack.

You will determine the root cause of complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions. Additionally, you will remain current on new technologies, evaluate, and make recommendations as necessary.

Responsibilities include task planning, estimation, scheduling, and mentoring Software Engineers to enhance their skill and knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.

Furthermore, you will determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes while working in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.

Finally, you will write, modify, and debug software for client applications, staying cool and effective in crisis situations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-10 years of IT experience with 3+ years of Guidewire integration development experience (preferably forms integration)
  • Experience in Integration on any of Guidewire Products such as Claim Center, Policy Center, Billing Center
  • Experience in integration components, including APIs, web services, and data mappings
  • Experience with web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON, and related technologies
  • Experience in Insurance domain with respect to commercial and personal line of business
  • Agile/Scrum project experience
  • Good conceptual, analytical, mathematical skills
