Job Description:

The Quality Manager in Project role is responsible for overseeing the quality aspects of a project from initiation to completion. This includes ensuring that all requirements are met, and that the product or service delivered meets the desired standards.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for managing the quality plan, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions as necessary. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting on quality metrics.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in electronics, electronic engineering, or equivalent, along with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in quality management. They should also have knowledge of quality management methods, statistical methods, project management, rail vehicle technology, IRIS, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Q-side contract reviews
  • Create acceptance test certificates
  • Capture config/serialization requirements with customers
  • Qualify employees on the QM system
  • Plan and execute PM Quality Gates
  • Support planning and controlling of internal EMPs
  • Foster a culture of quality throughout the organization
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, electronic engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in quality management
  • Knowledge of quality management methods, statistical methods, project management, rail vehicle technology, IRIS, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards
  • Able to travel frequently within PAN India
  • Good communication skills
