Senior Employment Law Expert

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Employment Law Expert to join our team.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that will require the successful candidate to be able to work independently with minimal supervision while also being able to interact confidently with colleagues and adversaries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, including experience with employment contracts, recruiting, employee benefits, discrimination and harassment issues, wage and working conditions, and regulatory and legislative developments related to employment.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and mitigating legal risks for the company, providing advice and counsel on an ad-hoc basis, and partnering with Human Resources to recommend, implement, and continuously improve employment-related policies and procedures.

You will also be expected to develop best internal practices for the HR team and our employees, provide advice to business partners regarding risk mitigation strategies, and mitigate risk. To the extent needed, you will support HR in conducting internal investigations.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, drafting, organizational, and communication skills. You must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing responsibilities and meeting deadlines. Good judgment, a high level of professional integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.

Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution, top academic credentials required. Must be a member of the India bar in good standing. Minimum 5 years prior law firm or in-house experience required. Four+ years of relevant employment law experience preferred. Experience with other countries in APAC a plus.
