Oracle Database Administrator Position

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle server software and related products.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Installation and Configuration: Ensure the smooth installation and configuration of Oracle server software and related products.
    • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor application-related products like OACore, OAFM, Apache, etc., and perform general technical troubleshooting.
    • Backup and Recovery: Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Database Administration:
    • Database Design and Implementation: Take care of database design and implementation.
    • Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team and provide 24×7 support when required.
  • Technical Support:
    • Consultation and Troubleshooting: Perform general technical troubleshooting and provide consultation to development teams.
    • Patch Management: Manage patches and version control.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Tuning and Monitoring: Perform database and application tuning and performance monitoring.
    • Environment Management: Clone DEV and TEST environments from PROD.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2: Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and applications knowledge in Supply Chain and Financials.
  • Database Knowledge: Experience with Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 through 19c.
  • Demantra Administration: Experience with Demantra Administration.
  • Exadata and Data Guard: Knowledge of Exadata and Data Guard.
  • Scripting Knowledge: Knowledge of PL/SQL and Linux scripts.
