Job Title: Remote Transportation Dispatcher

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a remote transportation dispatcher. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods from one location to another.

The ideal candidate will have experience in dispatching and transportation operations, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispatching: Coordinating the movement of goods from one location to another, including tracking and tracing drivers and trucks to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
  • Loading and Unloading: Building, updating, and closing loads in ALVYS TMS and other trucking software.
  • Customer Communication: Communicating with shippers, brokers, and customers via email and phone to ensure timely and efficient service.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in dispatching and transportation operations, preferably in refrigerated trucking.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in ALVYS TMS and/or similar trucking software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Work Style: Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
