Job Overview:

The Head of Commercial plays a pivotal role in driving the company's base metals strategy, responsible for leading trade commercials and developing risk mitigation strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing trade sales and purchase
  • Developing hedging strategies across exchanges
  • Creating business plans to achieve market leadership in India's base metal industry
  • Building and nurturing a team of professionals

Key Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Base Metals value chain
  • Commercial understanding of trade operations
  • A strong network of customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in hedging mechanisms across MCX, LME, and other platforms
  • Experience in team management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • At least 20 years of experience in the base metals industry with a Bachelor's degree or at least 10 years of experience post Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
