Electronics Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Inspector with experience in inspecting cable harnesses, PCB assemblies, and electronic units. This role requires strong knowledge of industry standards, assembly guidelines, and component-level inspection.

The Electronics Inspector will ensure electronic assemblies and subsystems conform to industry and customer specifications by conducting environmental tests, performing EMI/EMC testing, and preparing test setups. Additionally, they will document test procedures, results, and observations accurately and generate detailed test reports.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental tests such as thermal cycling, vibration, humidity, altitude, shock, and ingress protection (IP) tests on electronic units.
  • Perform EMI/EMC testing as per applicable military, automotive, or aerospace standards.
  • Prepare and verify test setups, fixtures, and monitoring instruments.
  • Ensure test parameters are maintained as per the test plan, and anomalies are reported.
  • Assist in the configuration and operation of data acquisition systems and EMI/EMC test receivers.
  • Document all test procedures, results, and observations accurately and generate detailed test reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot failures and support root cause analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with lab safety, quality control, and calibration requirements.
  • Participate in audits and maintain readiness for regulatory inspections.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives within the lab.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, assembly guidelines, and component-level inspection.
  • Experience in inspecting cable harnesses, PCB assemblies, and electronic units.
  • Familiarity with environmental testing equipment and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with engineering.
