Job Title: Service Management Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Service Management Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi.

  • This role will involve providing high-level support for Service Management (MIM) in a mission-critical banking environment.
  • You will ensure compliance with key regulatory requirements, including PCI DSS, SWIFT, and local banking regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Service Management, with a strong understanding of ITIL processes. They will also be proficient in tools such as ServiceNow/BMC.

Job Description
  • Provide L2 / L3-level support for Service Management (MIM) in a mission-critical banking environment.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, SWIFT, and local banking regulator requirements.
  • Operate under ITIL processes (Incident/Change/Problem/Knowledge).
  • Troubleshoot incidents, manage approved changes, and participate in DR/BCP drills.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
  • Tune configurations and schedule jobs to optimise performance and reliability.
  • Coordinate vendor TAC cases, firmware/patch planning, and validate post-change health.
  • Strong documentation, runbook hygiene, and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Ownership mindset with readiness for 24x7 support and on-call rotation.

Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
  • Excellent knowledge of Service Management (MIM), ITIL processes, and related tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow/BMC and other related software applications.
