This role is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of core software components/services that orchestrate the movement of inventory within a warehouse and interface with sortation and SCOT systems for high-fidelity promise and planning decisions.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced software developer to join our Inbound Foundations and Routing (IBFR) team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for building new software from the ground up, creating pragmatic solutions for complex business problems, and working closely with operations staff in Amazon fulfillment centers around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new software components/services that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements and ensure that software solutions meet those needs.
  • Work closely with operations staff to understand their needs and develop software solutions that support their work.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
