We are Progress Nasdaq PRGS - a trusted provider of software that enables our customers to develop deploy and manage responsible AI-powered applications and experiences with agility and ease We re proud to have a diverse global team where we value the individual and enrich our culture by considering varied perspectives because we believe people power progress Join us as a Senior Software Engineer I and help us do what we do best propel business forward What we re looking for A full stack developer who is a team player willing to adapt and learn new technologies and displays the necessary customer empathy As Senior Software Engineer in the Document workflows and Work collaboration space You will drive initiatives end to end working along side lateral functions like Product Customer Experience Security and SRE Apart from the business initiatives you will identify architectural and technical tracks and lead conversations on best practices for enterprise applications at scale In this role you will Deliver high quality code considering design patterns security performance and optimizations inclusive of the necessary unit and integration tests Enable the spirit of high quality code and software development best practices within the team through mediums like code reviews and other knowledge sharing platforms Technical lead who can independently drive initiatives by collaborating across various teams and break it down to milestones for the rest of the team Be on the look out for process improvements that can accelerate team efficiency and facilitates high performance Mentor and guide other members on the team wherever there is an opportunity for knowledge sharing Understand business and product well to work in conjunction with Product teams to arrive at the best deliverable considering customer experience and engineering feasibility Your Background Bachelor or Master s degree in computer science engineering or related fields At least 4 years of experience in software development Proficient in C Net Net microservices Experience in any javascript based frontend technology Experience in designing developing applications of scale Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex technical problems Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with cloud services preferably AWS Azure Experience in working with REST APIs Git Jenkins and CI CD process awareness Familiarity with MongoDB Redis preferred Knowledge of Agile development practices preferred If this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals we d be happy to chat What we offer in return is the opportunity to experience a great company culture with wonderful colleagues to learn from and collaborate with and also to enjoy Compensation Competitive remuneration package Employee Stock Purchase Plan Enrolment Vacation Family and Health 30 days of earned leave An extra day off for your birthday Various other leaves like marriage leave casual leave maternity leave and paternity leave Premium Group Medical Insurance for employees and five dependents personal accident insurance coverage and life insurance coverage Professional development reimbursement Interest subsidy on loans - either vehicle or personal loans Apply now LI-SR1 LI-Hybrid
