Job Overview

  • We are seeking a seasoned Dy Manager/Senior Exe to lead end-to-end testing activities for Equity Cash and Derivatives Exchange systems. This role is responsible for ensuring functional accuracy, performance, compliance, and integration with trading, clearing, and settlement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop in-depth understanding of functional requirements of Equity Cash and Derivatives trading, risk management, and settlement modules. Prepare comprehensive test plans and estimations, manage design, documentation, and execution of test cases, allocate testers, manage defects and bug reporting, and coordinate with Delivery Manager for release management.
  2. Provide regular test progress reports to stakeholders including business, technology, and compliance teams.
  3. Participate in Exchange Mock Trading and Market Simulation Activities for both Cash and Derivatives segments.
  4. Collaborate with Internal Audit team for SOP and regulatory compliance checks.
  5. Monitor process implementation as per defined SOP and exchange regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (desired); Master's degree in Computer Applications or Information Technology (with good academic record)
  • At least one testing certification from a reputable institution (desired)

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing testing activities in the BFSI domain
  • Direct experience in Equity Cash and/or Equity Derivatives exchange systems preferred
  • Familiarity with trading life cycle, order matching engines, market data dissemination, and post-trade processes

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of system testing metrics, best practices, and methodologies for high-availability, low-latency trading systems
  • Proven data analysis, verification, and problem-solving abilities in a market-critical environment

Functional Competencies required:

  • Detailed knowledge of exchange trading platforms, clearing and settlement systems, and risk management modules
  • Technical fluency in relevant programming languages and database systems
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements from exchanges and clearing corporations

Behavioral Skills required:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in technical and business-friendly language
  • Continuous learning mindset to keep pace with evolving market structures and regulations
