Job Overview

We seek an experienced professional to assume a pivotal leadership role within our global supply chain network, focusing on the development of financial strategies that drive cost control and support scalable logistics operations across Africa.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in managing finance for complex international supply chains, with a strong focus on working capital optimization, FX risk management, and trade finance mechanisms. This includes experience in monitoring and controlling all supply chain costs, enhancing processes for inventory, foreign exchange, freight, handling, and warehousing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting for end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Partner with logistics, procurement, and operations leads to analyze costs, identify savings, and optimize working capital.
  • Structure working capital and trade finance solutions, managing Letter of Credit (LC) facilities, FX exposures, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Deliver financial due diligence for logistics partners; evaluate total landed costs and inform decision-making.
  • Build dashboards and KPIs to track cost performance, supply chain metrics, and financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with global tax regulations, transfer pricing rules, and audit requirements in a multinational context.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–12 years of experience in supply chain finance, preferably within international logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP/BI tools (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management capabilities for working across geographies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to streamline financial processes, automate workflows, and deliver insights.
  • Professional written and verbal communication in English.
