Strategic Leader Sought

We are looking for a skilled Deputy Director to drive our overall Europe Business and Procurement objectives forward.


Responsibilities:
  • Contribute significantly to the achievement of our overall Europe Business and Procurement objectives.
  • Deliver sustained productivity growth year-over-year.
  • Provide high-quality support as a proactive service provider across various categories, including IT & Telecom, HR & Prof Services, Fleet, Temp Labor, POS (Log), Merchandising, Premium Item for English/Spanish language requirements, and all TB requirements.
  • Support the development and execution of procurement strategies for Travel, Meeting, and Events categories that align with our organization's overall procurement goals and objectives, contributing to smart spend guidelines. Collaborate in sourcing, negotiation, and contracting for TME-related products and services, with final approval by Europe Procurement leadership.
  • Extend responsibilities to other categories (similar to TME) as needed.
  • Step in to lead new, more complex GCC activities or during peak times.

Key Qualifications:
  • Strong background in Procurement (10 to 12 years) within FMCG environment, with a proven track record in Indirect Procurement.
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and category sourcing approaches, with the ability to implement them in complex environments.
  • Proven leadership track record.
  • Inspire, lead, and coach teams effectively.
  • Good business acumen, financial fundamentals knowledge, and excellent analytical and computer/systems skills.
  • Strong internal customer management skills: capacity to listen, understand, and capture internal clients' needs and deliver accordingly.
  • Collaboration skills and ability to perform in virtual and matrix organizations, leading without direct authority.
  • Languages: English is mandatory. German, French, Spanish, Polish, Turkish languages are strong assets.
  • Experience working in Europe.
  • Digital literacy and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to influence others and work in complex organizations.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Results-driven and customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Building and maintaining trusting relationships across organizational boundaries by modeling integrity, transparency, and authenticity, being respectful and inclusive of others.
