Job Description

Our organization is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to lead our automation testing efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Selenium and BDD Cucumber framework, experience in agile methodologies, and a solid understanding of the banking domain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering an agile environment adhering to best practices of Scrum methodology, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and analyzing requirements to create test cases and execute tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster an agile environment adhering to best practices of Scrum methodology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend application/domain requirements, create test cases, execute tests, and manage defects.
  • Analyze requirements, clarify doubts, contribute to accurate acceptance criteria, estimate, and commit.
  • Develop intelligent test plans to ensure product quality and stability.
  • Write test cases and automate test executions to guarantee acceptance criteria fulfillment.
  • Establish automated regression test suites for continued assurance of product quality.
  • Review test designs, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Develop QA metrics to measure QA automation effectiveness.
  • Perform UAT tests mimicking end-to-end user scenarios.
  • Validate production by running sanity tests and data validations.
  • Propose innovative solutions to reduce operational risks by automating repetitive tasks across SDLC.
  • Work closely with agile teams to ensure testing aligns with project timelines and requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Conduct functional and automation testing using Selenium/BDD Cucumber framework.
  • Utilize test management tools such as JIRA for tracking and managing test cases and defects.
  • Expertise in QA automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance tests like Selenium, Cucumber, Soap UI, JMeter, Load Runner etc.
  • Expertise in QA automation of data flows, data analysis, and SQL.
  • Expertise in testing for non-functional requirements.
  • Expertise in testing enterprise integrations through RESTful APIs, Kafka messaging etc.
  • Familiarity with Authentication, Authorization, and Security.
  • Good to have SQL/oracle database.
  • Strong banking domain knowledge.
  • Proficient in STLC process with excellent testing skills.
  • Experience in Test Management tools like JIRA.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with various teams on testing activities.
  • Collaborative mindset, self-driven, and takes ownership of tasks.
