Job Title: Procurement Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategically sourcing high-quality raw materials, packaging items, and consumables in alignment with production needs, inventory targets, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure raw materials, active ingredients, fragrances, and packaging components for cosmetic product manufacturing, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) in alignment with production schedules and inventory forecasts, maintaining accurate records and timely updates.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and quality parameters with existing and new vendors, leveraging industry knowledge and market trends.
  • Evaluate vendor performance based on price, quality, and delivery metrics; identify alternative sources when needed, optimizing procurement processes.
  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives, price benchmarking, and procurement process improvements, enhancing overall business performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of cosmetics/pharma raw materials, including regulatory compliance and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and cosmetic-specific regulatory procurement processes, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and inventory tools, with ability to analyze data and drive insights.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
