">Job Title: Programme Lead for Foundational Literacy and Numeracy

This is a key leadership role that oversees the development of the Foundation's Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programme, driving inclusive growth through impactful initiatives in education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the overall FLN programme strategy and operations.
  • Manage the FLN programme development, management, and execution of existing and new programmes, drawing from experience to provide sector-specific insights on how to maximize impact.
  • Liaise with national and international partners in implementing large-scale programmes that improve learning outcomes of children at the bottom of the pyramid.
  • Contribute to FLN programme design and implementation, including providing inputs on outcome metrics, performance management systems, and collaboration plans.
  • Act as liaison and manage relationships with technical implementation partners.
  • Work with senior stakeholders across foundations to leverage expertise in the FLN education space to bring insights and best practices into programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the social sector, with at least 7-10 years of experience and specialist expertise in one or more areas. They will be able to demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills, ability to control processes, and manage a team effectively.

Requirements:
  • Post Graduate Degree in any field related to the development sector.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of social sector experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the social sector and specialist expertise in one or more areas.
  • International experience preferred.
  • Experience with managing large-scale education programmes preferred.
