Job Title: Programme Director for Foundational Literacy

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Director to lead and oversee our Foundation's Foundational Literacy programme.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for our FLN programme, ensuring its effective implementation and growth.
  • Establish and manage partnerships with national and international organizations to drive FLN initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement FLN programmes, addressing the needs of diverse communities.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical partners and internal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Engage with senior experts across foundations to leverage expertise in education and social development.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Possess a postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as education or social sciences.
  • Hold at least 7-10 years of experience in the social sector, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the social sector, including specialist expertise in one or more areas.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive results-oriented processes and activities.
  • Be capable of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of collaboration and respect.
