Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Foundational Literacy and Numeracy program, driving impactful change in rural transformation, education, health, women empowerment, disaster management, urban renewal, and arts, culture & heritage.

Job Description:

  • Develop and oversee the overall strategy and operations for our FLN program.
  • Lead the development, management, and execution of existing and new programs, drawing from experience to provide sector-specific inputs on how to maximize impact.
  • Manage partnerships, liaising with national and international partners to implement large-scale programs improving learning outcomes for children at the bottom of the pyramid.
  • Contribute to program design and implementation, including providing inputs on outcome metrics, performance management systems, and collaboration plans.
  • Act as liaison and manage relationships with technical implementation partners.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to leverage expertise in the FLN education space, bringing insights and best practices into our programs.

Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Post Graduate Degree in any field related to the development sector.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of social sector experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of the social sector and specialist expertise in one or more areas.
  • International experience a plus.
  • Experience managing large-scale education programs a plus.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to control processes and activities in a result-oriented manner.
  • Ability to manage a team.
  • Capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
