Tower Design Engineer Position

We are looking for a skilled Tower Design Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing design calculations, structural analysis, and detailed tower drawings in compliance with international standards.
  • They will develop BOQ, BOM, and cost estimations for tendering and project execution.
  • Evaluating client specifications and tender documents, the engineer will provide technical & commercial proposals.
  • Coordination with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site execution teams is essential to ensure alignment of design with project requirements.
  • The engineer will perform load analysis, proto development support, and optimization of tower design for cost-effectiveness.
  • Leading the estimation process for domestic and international transmission & substation projects.
  • Conducting feasibility studies, risk assessment, and value engineering for new projects.
  • Supporting planning, scheduling, and resource management to meet project deadlines.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies for design approvals and clarifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering (Master's in Engineering preferred).
  • 05–12+ years of experience in Tower Design, Estimation, and Project Planning in Power Transmission / Telecom Tower industry.
  • Hands-on expertise in design software (STAAD, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MS Tower) and ERP tools (SAP/JDE).
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (IS, IEC, ASCE, ASTM, etc.).
  • Experience in global tendering & estimation for OHTL, Substations, and Telecom Tower projects.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
