
Senior Commercial Director

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our commercial efforts, drive significant growth by expanding our market presence both domestically and internationally. This senior executive will be responsible for developing and executing a robust commercial strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Responsibilities:- Commercial Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop a comprehensive business plan to drive sales growth and expand market share.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team to drive commercial success.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and refine existing strategies.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Drive aggressive B2B sales growth in domestic and international markets.
- Secure and manage high-value contracts with key clients across various industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders.
- Contract Manufacturing & Operations:
- Develop strategic contract manufacturing arrangements with producers of essential oils, herbal extracts, and oleoresins.
- Collaborate closely with them and their operations teams to ensure smooth execution of contract manufacturing orders.
- Ensure customer requirements and quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Financial & Performance Management:
- Manage commercial performance, monitor financial metrics against targets, and provide regular reports to management.
- Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining a competitive market position.
- Identify and analyze commercial risks and opportunities to make informed decisions.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in a senior commercial or business development role.
- Demonstrable experience in the essential oils, herbal extracts, oleoresins, or a closely related industry.
- Proven success in domestic and international market development.
- Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of B2B sales cycles, market dynamics, and customer segments in the essential oils and extracts industry.
- Knowledge of contract manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with relevant quality standards and trade regulations.
- Skills:
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree is highly preferred.
