Financial Modeling Analyst

As a highly skilled financial modeling analyst, you will play a key role in our company's success by creating dynamic Excel-based pro forma models to support decision-making. Your expertise in handling financial statements, modeling, and budgeting will enable us to refine and improve existing models, drive asset management strategies, and support acquisition initiatives.

Our ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting/investment analysis, preferably in the hospitality sector. They possess a strong accounting and finance foundation, including proficiency in three financial statements, financial modeling, and budgeting. Prior experience in hospitality real estate with a clear grasp of key metrics such as P&L, REVPAR, ADR, and occupancy is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain dynamic, Excel-based financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Underwrite new deals across various commercial real estate assets, ensuring strong financial validation.
  • Analyze rent rolls, operating memoranda, T12s, and market comps to derive meaningful insights.
  • Compile detailed reports to monitor performance and drive asset management strategies.
  • Prepare investment memos, investor updates, and performance dashboards using strong written English to ensure clarity and transparency.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven track record in CRE underwriting/investment analysis with a strong accounting and finance background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with investors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to long-term growth initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex financial data and identify opportunities.

A bonus: Familiarity with ARGUS, REFM, is an advantage.
