Internal Audit Role

As an Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive internal audit engagements to assess the efficiency of risk management and control processes.
  • Evaluate the operational effectiveness of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for corrective action.
  • Develop tailored audit plans to address specific risks and objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Document audit findings and recommendations in clear, concise reports, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with management to implement strategic improvements, leveraging audit insights to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and track audit progress, ensuring timely resolution of identified issues and closure of related actions.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to colleagues across the organization on risk management and control-related matters, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior leadership, driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • A minimum of twelve months of progressive internal audit experience, showcasing expertise in risk management and control concepts.
  • Proven understanding of internal audit methodologies, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, enabling effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for articulate presentation of audit findings and recommendations.
  • Commitment to professional standards of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality, upholding the highest levels of accountability and trustworthiness.
