Job Title: Senior Manager/AVP ALM
Role Summary:The Senior Manager/AVP ALM is responsible for overseeing the management of liquidity and interest rate risk for the bank, ensuring that it remains within established limits. This role involves preparing, reviewing, and validating regulatory returns, as well as developing and maintaining daily liquidity and ALM dashboards to provide insights to management.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitoring liquidity and interest rate risk for the bank, highlighting concerns to senior management.
- Preparing, reviewing, and validating regulatory returns to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Developing and maintaining daily liquidity and ALM dashboards to provide real-time insights to senior management.
- Working on IT projects related to risk monitoring and management systems.
- Enhancing current solutions through testing and/or providing functional inputs in developing new solutions.
- Staying updated on market and regulatory developments and best practices pertaining to ALM and balance sheet management.
- Engaging extensively with treasury, risk, IT, finance, and business teams to ensure alignment and effective risk management.
- Monitoring balance sheet hedging and streamlining processes to optimize results.
- Maintaining confidentiality of client information at all times.
- Complying with RBI circulars and guidelines, making changes in policies accordingly.
- Driving commercial savings on existing portfolios while ensuring adherence to RBI policies.
- Liaising with RBI financial audit team to ensure seamless interactions.
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in risk management, financial analysis, and IT project management would be an added advantage.
