Senior Financial Operations Specialist

Seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Financial Operations Specialist to oversee financial processes, ensure compliance, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalize financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the entire accounting process from journal entries to ledger scrutiny and reconciliation.
  • Handle GST computations and compliances.
  • Manage order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes for accounting accuracy.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits and support statutory audit processes.
  • Maintain a compliance calendar for all statutory and tax-related deadlines.
  • Analyze financial data for trends, variances, and inform business decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities for financial and tax matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 34 years of post-qualification experience or semi-qualified with relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax, and GST.
  • Experience with ledger scrutiny and hands-on involvement in end-to-end accounting.
  • Exposure to internal audit and statutory compliance processes.
  • Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal abilities.
