IT Service Management Expert

  • We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Management expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management workflows in alignment with business requirements.
  • You will configure and update Discovery schedules, monitor daily runs for errors, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable CI identification and population.
  • To enhance our capabilities, you will need to develop new Discovery probes and patterns to support complex infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • A key aspect of this role is continuously improving the ServiceNow platform through iterative enhancements, user feedback incorporation, and performance tuning.
  • You will also customize form layouts, fields, and user interfaces to support data consistency and usability across modules.
  • An additional responsibility will be to tailor and extend CAB Workbench functionality to support automated workflows and board operations.
  • You will develop and maintain robust REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems.
  • In addition, you will manage Scheduled Jobs, Script Includes, Business Rules, and automation scripts for operational efficiency.
  • You will also customize the Employee Center portal to improve branding, content delivery, and user engagement.
  • Your work will involve designing and publishing reports and dashboards to support performance tracking and operational transparency.
  • Last but not least, you will troubleshoot platform issues using advanced scripting skills and resolve defects promptly.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant ServiceNow training in ITSM, Discovery, and scripting modules.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
  • A proven track record with ServiceNow ITSM modules and Discovery implementation.
  • Experience with form customization, API integration, and dashboard/report creation.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting platform issues and scripting errors.
