Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage our financial operations in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in trade settlements, cash settlements, commodity settlements, loan syndication, billing and brokerage, trade reporting, regulatory reporting, reference data, corporate actions, and security lending operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with client partners to improve processes and controls that build capacity and scale.
  • Monitor and capture overall data and its status from various global functional teams across clients.
  • Identify discrepancies and propose optimal solutions using logical, systematic, and sequential methodologies.
  • Lead, control, and motivate groups towards company objectives.
  • Effectively audit processes, implement best practices, and process improvements, utilizing frameworks and tools available.

The ideal candidate should possess strong business understanding of the finance industry, with a special focus on capital markets and derivatives. He/she should be good with numbers, able to derive information from data, and have excellent multi-tasking and creative problem-solving skills. Additionally, he/she should have strong capabilities in PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel, and be able to build domain expertise and lead from the front.

Requirements:

  • Graduation or post-graduation in Bcom, BBA, BBM, BCA, Mcom, MBA, PGDM.
  • 2-5.5 years of experience in handling a team of at least 10 members and having good experience and knowledge of investment banking operations.
  • Conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality solutions and insightful analysis on a variety of projects.
  • Knowledge of or prior experience with offshoring processes and methodologies is highly preferred.
