Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our monitoring, evaluation and learning initiatives. This is a unique opportunity for a results-driven professional to drive data-informed decision making across our organization.

The Director – MEL will be responsible for developing and implementing robust methodologies to evaluate project effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement, and informing strategic decisions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing research projects, conducting evaluations, and developing impactful reports. They will also possess expertise in statistical analysis, data visualization, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust methodologies for evaluating project effectiveness;
  • Lead research projects, including designing studies, collecting data, and analyzing results;
  • Conduct evaluations and develop recommendations for program improvement;
  • Develop impactful reports that inform strategic decisions;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of MEL strategies;

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, social sciences, statistics);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in research, evaluation, or related field;
  • Proven track record of managing research projects and conducting evaluations;
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, data visualization, and stakeholder engagement;
  • Excellent communication and project management skills;
