About this role:

This leadership position oversees a team responsible for creating detailed plans and schedules to execute maintenance and project work. We are seeking an experienced professional with strong technical skills in planning and scheduling tools, as well as excellent leadership abilities.

  • Develop and implement routine maintenance planning and scheduling strategies
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure effective integration of maintenance activities into operating plans
  • Provide subject matter expertise on planning, estimating, and scheduling for Chevron executed project work
  • Ensure the development of high-quality work packages in compliance with industry standards
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the planning and scheduling of non-turnaround routine maintenance work at our site
  • Provide support on planning, estimating, and scheduling for Chevron executed project work
  • Drive accountability regarding the use of standard planning and estimating tools and practices
  • Accountable for the growth and development of planners and schedulers
  • Deliver quality execution work plans and updates on scope status and forecast
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering or maintenance discipline)
  • Previous experience in a maintenance planning leadership position within the Oil and Gas industry
  • Strong technical background in planning and scheduling tools (e.g., JDE, SAP, Prometheus, Primavera P6)
  • Understanding of planning processes including constructability, advanced work packaging, work planning (schedule, resources, cost), project scoping, contract planning and management, progress measurement/controls, and materials management
