Key Track Alignment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Track Alignment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in preparing preliminary designs and ensuring smooth project execution.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing horizontal and vertical track centre line alignment, preparing points and crossings based on operational concepts, and implementing effective design methodologies for elevated sections.

  • Design and implement track centre line alignment, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
  • Develop and review design calculations for cant, cant deficiency, cant excess, speed, rate of change of cant, rate of change of cant deficiency, and transition.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks and assurance for deliverables, participate in review meetings, and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience, with at least 5 years in relevant track alignment roles within metro projects.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in integrated project delivery environments.
  • Self-motivated leadership skills, with the ability to influence without authority.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in rail design software, including swept path analysis, regression analysis, and drain.
  • Familiarity with geotechnical, structural, signaling, architectural, utility, traction, rolling stock, and multi-model integration aspects.
