Head of Compliance

As a seasoned professional, you will oversee compliance functions with a focus on corporate governance, risk management, and statutory filings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Governance: Advise the board of directors on corporate governance matters, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act and SEBI regulations.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks across the organization.
  • Statutory Filings: Oversee the preparation and timely filing of regulatory documents with authorities like the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Professional Qualifications: A qualified Company Secretary (CS) is mandatory. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in senior compliance, corporate secretarial, or governance roles. Must have experience working in a listed company and handling M&A compliance.
  • Legal & Financial Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Indian corporate laws, financial regulations, accounting standards, and taxation.
