Corporate Planning Director

This is a key leadership role within the organization responsible for driving strategic initiatives and ensuring effective execution of projects aligned with corporate objectives.

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Planning Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining internal controls, managing cross-functional projects, and facilitating financial board agendas. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining effective internal controls
  2. Driving various cross-functional projects aligned with organizational objectives
  3. Project management through follow-up and tracking processes to ensure project delivery with agility and efficiency
  4. Working within various cross-functional teams and managing related internal communication
  5. Managing critical approval processes such as the Ringi process
  6. Facilitating financial board agendas, JVs, etc.
Key Responsibilities

The Corporate Planning Director will be responsible for:

  • Strengthening approval process controls with timely feedback to business functions
  • Effective coordination of Board Meetings, JVs, etc., including closure of related action items
  • Facilitating and coordinating activities related to Corporate Planning representation in various industry forums like SIAM, CII, ASSOCHAM, etc.
  • To monitor and ensure smooth development and timely delivery of projects
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams within and outside the organization
  • Manage role-related communication with internal and external stakeholders, addressing needs, and resolving issues promptly
  • Facilitating and coordinating approval documents preparation for Management

  • A strong understanding of MSILs internal processes, functions, and responsibilities of various vertical business functions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen, in-depth knowledge about the auto industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills
  • Keen on learning new upcoming technologies, updated on new market trends
  • Data-driven approach - analyze and propose short-term and long-term strategic solutions
