ERP Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ERP engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled professional to take on a challenging role that involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP ABAP object-oriented programming, debugging, and performance tuning, as well as expertise in architecting applications, databases, services, or integrations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading agile teams, adopting agile philosophies, facilitating ceremonies, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Additionally, they will collaborate with colleagues to lead demonstration and continuous feedback sessions to improve development and drive the long-term vision.

  • Apply software engineering patterns and principles to design, develop, test, integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex and varied software solutions.
  • Participate in peer code review sessions to review code, coach peers, and ensure code quality.
Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Confirmed experience automating pipelines for continuous integration, testing, delivery, and security.
  • Confirmed experience architecting applications, databases, services, or integrations.
  • Minimum of three years of related work experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP ABAP object-oriented programming, debugging, and performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are desirable:

  • Experience with BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancement Framework, CDS Views, AMDP, BOPF.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and use of technologies such as OData Services, PI/PO, ALE, MII, IDOCs.
