Job Title: Special Educator – At-Home Sessions

About the Role:

Carely is a family-first disability support platform connecting children with developmental needs to trained professionals.

Our structured therapy services are respectful, goal-oriented, and personalized to each child's journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Personalized Sessions: Design and deliver special education sessions in the child's home environment.
  • Build Communication Skills: Focus on functional communication, basic literacy, and language through structured activities.
  • Support Daily Living Activities: Support independence in ADLs (e.g., dressing, eating, routines).
  • Assess and Track Progress: Conduct informal assessments to set measurable goals and track progress.
  • Develop Engaging Learning Tools: Create engaging, age-appropriate learning tools and methods.
  • Maintain Session Records: Maintain clear session records and update the team regularly.
  • Collaborate with Parents: Collaborate with parents and other therapists to ensure holistic support.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (RCI-registered preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of communication strategies and life skills training.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.
  • Approach: Respectful, non-judgmental, and family-focused approach.
