The role of a BIM Manager is multifaceted and demanding.

As a seasoned professional in the field of Building Information Modelling, you will assume a leadership position overseeing multiple Architecture, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting) projects simultaneously. Your extensive experience will equip you with the necessary skills to effectively manage teams, ensure project success, engage clients, develop business opportunities, and implement industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Lead and coordinate multiple BIM projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to established standards.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and workflows to optimize project delivery and efficiency.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, ensuring they adhere to established BIM protocols and methodologies.
    • Proactively identify and address project-related challenges and issues, maintaining rigorous control over quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and updates on project progress.
    • Attend client meetings to thoroughly understand their project requirements, provide actionable insights, and promptly address any concerns or inquiries.
    • Collaborate with clients to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed their expectations and contribute to long-term partnerships.
  • Business Development:
    • Actively participate in business discussions to drive growth and expansion of BIM services within the organization.
    • Utilize your extensive industry experience to identify new business opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and showcase the organization's advanced capabilities.
    • Collaborate with the business development team to secure new projects and foster strategic partnerships.
  • Strategic Oversight:
    • Exercise meticulous oversight of project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure financial viability and efficient use of resources.
    • Implement cost-effective strategies that balance project quality and client satisfaction without compromising either.
    • Maintain strict control over project timelines, taking prompt corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Best Practices Implementation:
    • Establish and enforce industry-leading best practices in BIM project management, driving adherence to relevant industry standards and guidelines.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the BIM team, staying at the forefront of industry developments.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in BIM technology and methodologies, integrating them into project workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Must possess expertise in BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 tools.
